Coaching/Therapy

I specialize in developing effective group and one-to-one relationships at home or at work offering either:

  1. Marital and relationship coaching and therapy
  2. Work-related coaching & mentoring
  3. Meaningful-life coaching

Coaching & mentoring deal with issues through, for example, discussion, exploration, models, self-insight questionnaires, tools and techniques. Therapy is similar though it explores issues in greater depth.

1. Martial And Relationship Coaching & Therapy

Are you tearing yourself apart, unable to decide whether to stay or leave your marriage or relationship, feeling trapped, struggling with obsessive thoughts, tired of arguing and un-kept promises? Do you suffer stress, conflict, frustration and dissatisfaction?

Then my relationship therapy can help you finally find the courage, insight and interpersonal skills to either stay in a radically improved relationship or leave and make a new beginning.

2. Coaching & Mentoring At Work

Are you fed up of trying to work with obstructive, uncooperative colleagues, trying to cope with an unreasonable boss, merely going through the motions, feeling strangled by company politics, wishing you could be a more effective leader or wanting to understand and improve team dynamics?

Then my coaching and mentoring can help you find the courage to be authentic, learn how to confront company politics, be more effective at leading people and organizations and successfully deal with difficult colleagues and challenging situations.

3. Meaningful-Life Coaching

Relationships at home or at work can make you seriously re-think your entire existence. Are you constantly soul-searching, do you fear you’re wasting your life, feel lost with no sense of purpose, scared to take the risk of a change, haunted by the thought that ‘there must be more to life than this’ or feeling you’re an observer of life, rather than a part of it?

Then I can help you to gain a new perspective on your life, your freedom and the choices available to you; help you live life to the full by no longer ‘sitting in the waiting room of life’. My coaching will help you decide what you want to do, where you want to go and who you want to be and to then make the appropriate changes.

My Approach

As a chartered psychologist, my approach is a humanistic-existential one that stems from a philosophical tradition, acknowledging that we all face times when certain life or work struggles can leave us mentally exhausted, emotionally drained and physically ill.

My approach is useful for clients finding it hard to:

  • Understand other people’s behaviour and how to handle it
  • Gain a higher level of self-awareness, appreciate the effect and influence they have on others and play to their strengths for the good of their relationship or business
  • Develop fresh ways of thinking, different ways of operating and new attitudes – towards themselves, their partners, relationship, colleagues, work, customers and others
  • Make choices and hard decisions
  • Be themselves
  • Make the changes within their lives they dream about
  • Coping with guilt, stress and anxiety
  • Make sense of life
  • Find personal values to live by and make their one and only life a meaningful one

At your initial consultation we will explore your current issues, a little about your background history, agree what the focus of our work together will be and begin the work.

I offer a totally confidential service where people feel safe to explore issues with someone they can trust to be sharp, original, honest, insightful, non-judgmental and effective.
